The Workshop of Awesome is a project I am running with a collaborator Danny Hunter. While we don’t expect to be the next Adam Savage or Weta workshop we are starting small and building a collection. Join us for a series of builds and some good interactive fun. Hopefully along the way we will invite some friends and have fun

We are both new to building things and we will be learning as we go, so we will make mistakes, hopefully a few hilarious ones that we catch on video for your entertainment.

We are both big Star Wars fans, so the first Major project that we will be undertaking is building an R2 unit and R4. We expect it to take over a year, so we will be running smaller projects over the same time.

Our first build is a Vacuum Former, so we can make moulds for our builds. It is a complete DIY build from scratch and we will be putting up videos and technical drawings and plans

The next one right after the Vacuum Former is the MSE droid from Star Wars, which gives us the opportunity to use the vacuum former.
